Missing SharePoint calendar and other apps

Question

I am using SharePoint online and when I went to add an app, many of the normal options are missing. I couldn't add a picture library or calendar for instance. I ensured that the Team Collaboration Lists feature was activated, but they still aren't there. I looked at adding an app catalog, but it seemed like that was more for custom apps than the out of the box ones. I'm hoping that I am just missing something simple.

Whether you go to SharePoint modern apps store to add default apps?

Please go to classic experience to add default apps.
