Delete Doc Library synced folder from Windows Explorer

Hi

I have GPO to sync a document library in Windows explorer. After removing the users from the policy. The library remains in file explorer. Only way to remove is pause onedrive sync and delete the library. Is this the only option?

    Yes, per my knowledge, you should pause OneDrive sync and delete the library in the windows explorer.
