On Word 365 for Mac, "Track Changes" won't stay on while I'm using it.

While working in Word 365 for Mac (latest version of Word and of the Mac OS), "Track Changes" constantly goes off and I have manually put it back on. I've tried it both through the Tools>Track Changes> Highlight Changes, as well as through the Review ribbon and setting Track Changes to "on"...all without luck.

How do I get it to stay on? It's driving me crazy.

    Hi Elaine,

    Does this problem exist in different versions of Word for mac?

    If yes, I found a similar thread "Track changes turns itself off while I am editing", you may have a look.
