The azure Maps service is identified as a "Non-regional service".
It isn't clear from all documentation to determine the geographical location that will serve the request.
Assuming an application is deployed on the Azure UAE North data center. When a call to Azure maps is performed, is that call served from the UAE data center or is the call redirected to a different data center across the world ? Any fix data center serving these non-regional products ?

Is it the same for App_Insight ?

    Hello @Pascal ,

By definition on a search in the web:
"Non-regional services: Services that don't depend on a specific Azure region, making them resilient to zone-wide outages as well as region-wide outages."

    See: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/global-infrastructure/services/?products=azure-maps

By that, you aren't in control on what server serves your application (this is Azure internals). Are you experiencing high latencies? Can you develop more on what you are trying to achieve?

    Thanks.
