Custom Filter Search Criteria error in Resource Center Views in Project Online

When we try to filter the rows in the Work Resources or All Resources view in Resource Center based on a search criteria, there is an error message, "One or more rows are invalid. Correct these errors and try again".
What we are trying to do is... Set the value of the custom field as follows: [Custom Field] equals [Lastname, First Name]. We are using the condition as 'equals' because the values are from a Lookup Table.
Surprisingly, the same search condition works in the Dev and QA instances but NOT in the Prod instance. The values are JUST the same in the Lookup table all the 3 instances.
Any help here? Thanks in Advance..
