How do I install a legacy program on Win 10

I have a 2004 edition of Microsoft Digital Imaging 10 that I've used for all those years on my Windows 7 computer.
I tried to install it on my newer Win10 computer, but a message says that I can't install it because it requires Internet Explorer.
I don't want to go thru the learning curve for a new greeting card program, so is there any way to get it to install on my Win10 computer?

    Hello AlKoppen,

Unfortunately IE has reached it's end of life as product, and many security and functional concerns are present for users still using it. This is why in newer versions of Windows 10 has been even completely removed from usage.

You can try enabling the compatibility mode for IE in Edge, following the next article: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/enterprise/manual-how-to-set-up-ie-mode-internet-explorer-integration-in/m-p/774900

But in case the program requires specific libraries from IE (maybe even earlier versions than IE11 - which would be completely obsolete at this point) there would be no other solution than using a legacy operating system such as Windows 7.
