Intune data protection between profiles

Hello,

Is there any setting in Intune that allows data flow between particular work profile and particular personal profile app? I would need to send a file path(string) from personal profile app to work profile app. Also work profile app needs to grab the actual file from personal profile space by using the given path. Is this even possible and if it is, which settings I have to check?

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Per my experience, we could create a Device restrictions configuration profiles under Devices | Configuration profiles | Android Enterprise personally-owned work profile | Device restrictions. And then set the option Data sharing between work and personal profiles to Apps in work profile can handle sharing request from personal profile.

    It will enable the built-in Android feature that allows sharing from the personal profile to the work profile. When enabled, a sharing request from an app in the personal profile can share with apps in the work profile.
