Not receiving passcode

I have an encrypted email, when I try to open the email it says I need a "one time passcode", I click send, it says it sent it to my correct email, but it never shows up and I have looked in the spam/junk folder. Please help, thanks!

    Outlook.com (hotmail) is not currently supported here on Q&A. The product group for Outlook.com actively monitors questions in dedicated forums here.

    If an account access problem then also try resetting via the account recovery form
