I have a few Windows 10 Pro machines that wont print. It started with 1 and when I checked the printers none were populated ( we have 4 printers on the network) I restarted the printer spooler which gave me the 1053 error and the spooler was off. From there I was able to start it and it seemed to work, all printers were showing up on the machine. However it started to get more repetitive first just a couple of days then a couple of hours when i restart the Print Spooler they still dont come back up. I have ran scans for malware and it comes back clean as well as running SFC /Scannow and still not working any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi there,

If this is happening after recent updates I would suggest you uninstall the updates and check if this sort the Issues.

Printer problems are caused by corrupted or outdated drivers, download and install the latest drivers to sort this out.

Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.

Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

Search for the Printer from the device list, right-click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.

You can then install the latest printer drivers and see if this sorts your Issue.
