How to Add Network Link in SharePoint List Column

Hi ,

I want to add some Network path in the SharePoint Hyperlink column . But it not working on clicking .

I am doing like this : File:///\A\TestFolder\SubFolder1\Files\

Please let me know the correct way .

Per my test, the hyperlink format of the Network Path that you used is feasible.

There are several reasons leading to the Hyperlink does not working:

1.Browser compatibility issues. Please make sure you are using IE browser.
2.The added Hyperlink is invalid. You could check if the Hyperlink is real and valid by using Windows Explorer.
3.Linking to Network location as a Hyperlink is not supported for the Local Drives.

Could there be other reasons why the link will not spawn an explorer window to the link or item? Are there specific policy issues that could be in play? My similar test does not work in Edge or Chrome browsers.

Link works in Windows Explorer.
