this is IT manager preparing AZ-303, AZ-104.
Do I have to take the AZ-900 before proceeding with the certification exam?

Are there separate steps for Azure exams?

    No you don't "have" to take the AZ-900 before, but it is a recommendation to start there and go forward from that.
