Hello All,
Have an on-premise Sharepoint 2016 Enterprise farm. Users cannot open Excel file in browser. All types (xlsx. xls etc). Also, there is no preview.
All other files like word ppt etc can be viewed, edited on the browser.
I have done some troubleshooting like checking the WOPI bindings, checking the "serverfileExcelserver" in hive, iisreset, check the app pool account, etc
