I'm trying to delete a scope from my DNS and I get an error:

Confirm
The scope WebsadNo5ZoneScope will be removed from the zone cm-porto.net on server CRACOVIA. Do you want to continue?
[Y] Yes [N] No [?] Help (default is "Y"):
Failed to delete scope WebsadNo5ZoneScope of zone example.ent on the server server1.

  • CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (example.ent:root/Microsoft/...ServerZoneScope) [Remove-DnsServerZoneScop

I had to remove the zonescopes from the DNS policies, I deleted the policy and redid a new one without these zonescopes and then I could remove it
