Reading data from Sharepoint Using Databricks

I am trying to read the SharePoint data from Databricks. But, not able to access it. Could you please let me know if it is possible to read the SharePoint data using Databricks. If possible then could you please share some code or Link where i can find the solution.

According to your description, your problem is not much related to SharePoint Online. Therefore, we will remove the "office-sharepoint-online" tag.

Reading data from sharepoint using Azure databricks is not possible. Sharepoint is not supported source in Azure databricks.

Thanks for sharing the content and helping me on this. I read this and its first statement is "Unfortunately, you cannot read Share point excel files in Azure Databricks."
Could you please let me know if it is possible to read data from SharePoint through Databricks? I want to create a ETL where we want to read data everyday.
I don't want to copy and paste the excel file everyday in Azure storage.

Hi @Jitendra . Kumar ,

You consider having ADF pipeline set up to read data from SharePoint and load in to Azure Storage. And from there you can plan to use Databricks to read that data and perform your transformations.

I would like to access Data stored as Sharepoint List from Databricks notebook. Last response 3 years back in this thread says it's not possible. Is this feature added yet?
