Can't open Word docs in desktop app via Teams on Mac running OSX12.01 (Monterey)
I have been added to a client's Teams account as a guest.
I want to open their Word file in my desktop app. I'm an editor and I have a heap of macros and add-ins for Word and working in Teams or the browser app is super frustrating and kills my productivity. I was able do that fine until my Mac decided to upgrade to OSX 12.01 (Monterey). Now it completely refuses to do that.
I can still open files in Teams in my desktop Word on my MacBook Pro, which is still running OSX 11.6.
I have reinstalled EVERYTHING (Word, Teams), spent 90 minutes on a chat with a Microsoft tech and cleared the caches, but I just can't make it work on my iMac. Any ideas?
