I installed VS 2022 Preview on my new surface. I am trying to debug an app that i wrote under VS2019/Xamarin
When I connect my Samsung S8+ phone via USB, it does not show up as a debug device. It is enabled in developer mode
So I have 2 questions
- perhaps i forgot to run some sort of configuration to recognize the phone? if so, what?
- How can I also create an emulator for this type of phone? I do not see the option under the Android Device Manager

Could the 'Samsung S8+' device be identified on VS 2019? Please test to vertify it. And try using another physical device to deploy the project on VS 2022. If the problem only occurs on 'Samsung S8+' device, try to reboot the phone and test again.
