Azure Virtual Desktop Printer redirection not working on Windows 10

I setup an azure virtual desktop environment with Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops and for some reason the printer redirection stoped working after a few weeks.
I also tried to disable and enable printer redirection on RDP Properties but still doesn't work, the printers on local computers (local and newtork printers) doesn't appear in the remote session. I set a public ip on this VM and the printer redirection works if I connect directly to the VM without use the azure virtual desktop app or web app.
I also add a new W10 VM on this host pool but the same problem occurs.

When you log into the host VM directly are you using an Admin account at this point?
Can you please confirm that there were no changes in the printer redirection RDP custom properties and/or it works on an admin account directly then it may be due to patching.
Have you recently performed any patching that may have implemented the fixes for print nightmare? There was a new restriction that prevented standard users installing point and click printer drivers.

Can you please confirm on this to better assist you on this.

Hello,
I tested with both admin and non admin users. The printer redirection only works when the user login directly on VM.
No changes were made on printer redirection RDP properties.
No patch was applied, I also tested on a new VM and a new host pool with no changes and the problem persist.

I have never been able to get printer redirection to work in an AVD setup. This is really a problem for us as it limits our ability to leverage RemoteApp and other systems that require printing capabilities. This worked fine in an on-prem RDS setup. I'm not sure what the differences are when it comes to AVD and on-prem RDS when it comes to the redirection setup, but it would be nice to find a solution.

We are currently on V1 of Azure WVD. We enabled redirection on the hostpool. We see the printers show up (so they are redirecting at some level) when the user signs in to the RemoteApp or their Desktop in WVD. however, when we go to print, nothing happens. I don't see the print job hit the printer queue on the print server so it appears the communication isn't fully there.

In our situation we had disabled audio re-direction and the web client print function stopped working. We re-enabled audio re-direction and the web client print function returned and was available. No idea why that worked.

Hi,

I fixed this issue permanently by uninstalling the Remote Desktop client from the local PC and downloading a 'new' RDP file from this web client:

https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html

Have the user login to the above link using their Microsoft credentials and select the highlight option in the below screenshot:

Hello,

How i can run the file is the application is uninstalled??

I have also tested this with the application installed but redirection is still not working.

Sorry for the late update but I was able to solve my issue installing the client version from this source other than using the version from the microsoft store https://learn.microsoft.com/pt-br/azure/virtual-desktop/users/connect-windows?tabs=subscribe#prerequisites
