Hi, I have questions for Azure CDN.

1) is Azure CDN reliable?
My company has blocked the Azure CDN URI(e.g az[Random#].vo.msecnd.net) because of a phising mail has it. But Some of developer in our team want to unblock it since they need it for vscode. Can I put Azure CDN URI on white list?

2) What do mean the characters AZ in CDN URI?

Thank you,

@Markyoo Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

If I understand you correctly, your company has blocked Azure CDN URL as a Phishing attack and you would like to unblock it. However, you want to know if Azure CDN is reliable.

If you identified the IP to be an Azure Cloud IP, then you should be able to whitelist the IP. Azure CDN default endpoint hostname is in the form of <domain>.azureedge.net. Looking at the website that you mentioned in the thread, itseems like a custom domain, is that right?

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be glad to assist you further. Thank you!
