Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to automatically map an Azure share when a user logs into a computer joined to Azure Active Directory and Intune?

Thanks in advanced.

You must use either Active Directory Domain Services or Azure Active Directory Domain Services to authenticate. Once that is setup you should be able to map the drive and the connection will persist. See Mapping a Network Drive to an Azure File Share Using Domain Credentials for more information and a walk through.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have further issues or questions and we will be happy to assist.

    Hi there,

I suppose that it is not possible to automatically map an azure share to a user. To use an Azure file share with Windows, you must either mount it, which means assigning it a drive letter or mount point path or access it via its UNC path.

If this is not sufficient for your workload, Azure File Sync may be used, or you may use identity-based authentication over SMB.

Here is an article regarding Mapping a Network Drive to an Azure File Share Using Domain Credentials but I doubt this will not help in mapping the share automatically.
