expand input text in sharepoint list forms

Question

I have configured the body of a standard sharepoint list form using the following doc:

I have 3 columns.

In some sections I have text boxes that are the width of a column. I am looking for a way to enlarge them. I would like them to use the size of all 3 columns.

Is this possible with standard Sharepoint forms ?

According to this article,

the body configuration only allows defining one or more sections and adding one or more columns to each of those sections.

So, it is not available.
