Due to the default in each Yammer communities are set to "Recent Activity" that it would not show "all" posts chronologically.
I use Yammer to let my team submit their request forms so everyone have to see all posts arranged by posted time, cannot miss any post.
Now, even myself, when select the filter to "Recent Posts", when I refresh or open Yammer again in that communities, it bounces back to "Recent Activity" every time.

Almost a year later... I have just found the opposite thing. Have not found a way to make it stick at recent activity, it keeps resetting to recent posts Something odd going on.

Bob, I too prefer recent activity to default. It is frustrating tha MS seems to change this behaviour inconsistently

Recent Posts is not persistent after signing out of a computer and then signing back in.
So changing the Yammer setting to Recent Posts is at least a daily occurrence. It would be great if this setting persisted and was consistent across all platforms (iOS, Viva Engage in Teams, etc.).
