Calendar invites-After Deleting DL

Hi All

i am using exchange 2016 hybrid environment, I have a DL created in exchange online lets say DL1@mydomain.com. many users have sent meeting invite to this DL till March 2022. Now i have a requirement to delete this DL from exchange online and create it in exchange onprem with the same name and email address. When i delete the DL from exchange online and create it in exchange onprem. will the meeting invites which were sent earlier to the DL(online) will those meeting invites will have any kind of impact on the users mailboxes. Though i dont think so, but i want to confirm with the experts i.e after deletion of DL and creation the meeting invites sent to old DL should be there in users mailboxes and should not be deleted.

Distribution list is used to send email in bulk, which doesn't host data. Meetings exist the the target mailbox, delete group will not effect the existing meeting.
