Note: this IS NOT a question about RDP on a Windows server.
Hi All,
I have RDP set up as a server on several Windows Pro workstations. Is there a way to monitor what is happening when someone logs into the server computer? This to make sure no "funny business" is going on when the screen is blanked.

Sorry but it does not work like that with a desktop operating system using windows remote desktop protocol, you can try using VNC viewer or team viewer if you need that scenario.

You'll need to define this "funny business"
It is usually the "boss'" computer that is being logged into. The "boss" would like to know what the logger is doing. In other words, the "boss" wants to know is the logger is doing something he should no be doing (funny business).

Not sure what this even means.
boss: noun : An employer or supervisor.
"boss:" owner of the company (human being that signs your pay check) and the user of the workstations set up to act as an RDP server.
When someone logs into the the company owner's workstation, the boss (human being that signs your checks) wants to see what is going on. RDP blanks his monitors when someone logs into his workstation.

but the simplest and most secure solution is to not allow the users on the bosses desktop.

Hmmmm. The link looks like your are logging into a real Windows Server, not a workstation. The server in this instance is W7/10/11 Pro workstation.
Basically what I am after is a way to NOT blank out the target workstation when someone remotely logs in.

I did read the title. I was excited. Then I read the article:
And the directions souned like a Windows Server, not a workstation.
Also things like:
"Mstsc.exe /shadow:<Session ID> /v:<Computer name or IP address>"
Is a THIRD computer shadowing the workstation server. I want have the screen not blanked on the workstation server. And definitely not involving a third computer
I did. It requires a third computer to do the shadowing. I only want the screen unlocked so the owner can see what is happening.
