In SharePointOnline, add users to multiple people or groups in grid view, selected user is cleared and only the users entered registered.

Question

In SharePointOnline, when I add users in grid view to a column of people or groups that I have made multiple selectable, selected users entered is cleared and only the users entered after that are registered.

I did some research and found out the following.
・The same problem occurs whether the first user entered is one or ten.
・The same problem occurs in both document libraries and SharePoint lists.
・The problem occurs even after changing the site.
・If I delete all users and then re-enter them, all users can be registered.

This is the situation.
Please let me know if this is a specification of SharePointOnline or if there is a problem with my setting.

Per my test, I can reproduce it in my end. Currently this is by default.

If you find it inconvenient, I have found a workaround for you, right click Edit and edit it, the previous content can be saved:
