Cannot understand how to pay for my Azure subscription

I am utterly confused about my Azure subscription. I have had a Pay-As-You-Go subscription for several years, but there was a long period during which I incurred no charges. I recently started building a new website, and so I have incurred some charges. But, while some charges have been collected as recently as late November, it looks like one payment was not collected in October, and now my subscription has been cancelled. I only became aware of this when I tried and failed to create an Azure Custom Domain for my account and that failed.

There seem to be lots of different "views" onto my account, and each shows conflicting information:

I've no idea what's going on, but I'm really confused - and very worried that my account and all the services etc. that I have set up are going to be lost. I have not been able to find a way to pay the unpaid invoice, or do whatever I need to do to re-activate my account.

Please help!

    Hi @Gary McGill ,

the best option is to create a support request regarding this issue.

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/faq/#support-overview

Your Azure subscription includes access to subscription management support (such as billing, quota adjustments, and account transfers) at no additional cost via the Azure portal.

Hello @Gary McGill - Thanks for reaching out to our support and working with them while the support was working on the issue.

Looks like the issue is resolved now and the domain was restored to your subscription. And I also understand that the App service team was unable to restore the original domain karenmcgill.com because it is registered for another registrar as informed by the internal team engaged.

This was by design as we are fully committed to ensure that your issues or concerns are resolved.

You can also use this link to communicate your feedback https://feedback.azure.com as this goes directly to the Engineering team responsible for building Azure.

Hope this helps other customers as well that come across this issues.
