Dart - Locksmith option unavailable (greyed out)

Hi

I'm trying to get some data out of a laptop with a lost account pwd (Windows 10).

I'm trying to use DART to reinit the account pwd.

But Locksmith is greyed out, why? :-(

Hi there,

If any of the registry hives are corrupted or missing, Registry Editor and several other DaRT utilities will have limited functionality. If no operating system is selected, some tools will not be available.

Make sure your drivers are not corrupted or you have not created a Bitlocker for the drive.
