Dev Essentials subscription

Question

Hello all,

Please pardon my ignorance but I'm in the process of building a home lab. My home lab will be a hybrid setup. Now I have the Dev Essentials subscription which is free, does it also provide me with server licenses? If it doesn't how would someone like myself will be able to build an environment to learn without having to sell my kidneys for licenses.
