The true answer to the issue is this: Third-party cookies was turned off in the browser, as part of correcting an issue with the Edge Browser shutting down immediately upon startup. Turning them back on solved this issue with bat.js not running, and the Rewards score was saved correctly. As the error message for bat.js that I attached clearly said, it did not have permissions to load a resource. Apparently that resource was a cookie file.
MSREWARDS bat.bing.com/bing.bat Failed to load resource ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT
While doing the Microsoft Rewards Daily Set for today (12/4/2021), I am able to complete two of the three tasks and the green check mark of completion shows up as normal on the dashboard. But the third one, after completing it, there is no green check mark no matter how many times I re-do the task and complete it. Using F12's Developer Tools, we see that it is failing to load some unknown resource it needs from bat.js script file. (See attached image) How can I get around this and have all three tasks marked as completed without an error from this bing.bat script file?
