Hi,
I have a OneDrive account with a government agency and I am trying to login to this OneDrive in my personal laptop with Windows 10.
I have no issue logging in via the web browser using my laptop and OneDrive app in mobile phone.
However, when I try to login using the OneDrive app in my laptop, it showed this message 'Sorry, OneDrive can't add your folder right now. Please contact support'.

The relevant OneDrive settings, based on previous similar threads that were suggested to be the cause of the issue, was already set as it should:
'Require content approval for submitted items?' = No
'Who should see draft items in this document library' = Any user who can read item
'Require documents to be checked out before they can be edited' = No
No columns are ticked.

So how do I solve this issue and log into my OneDrive account via OneDrive app in my laptop?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi @ARBAN

    Welome to Q&A forum ~

If you log in to another OneDrive Business account, do you also get this error message?
Please make sure "Allow syncing only on computers joined to specific domains" is not enabled.

Besides, was “Information Rights Management” (IRM) feature enabled on your O365 account.
If yes, please check whether this article "OneDrive Can’t Add Your Folder Right Now!" is helpful.

    Hi,

I got the exact same error message in some Azure AD Joined computers, et and it was caused by the fact that sharepoint/OneDrive were configured to sync only from domain joined computers in the tenant of my client. I was configured long time before I started to work on this environment. Follow this to disable it: Allow syncing only on computers joined to specific domains

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/onedrive/allow-syncing-only-on-specific-domains?redirectSourcePath=%252fen-us%252farticle%252fallow-syncing-only-on-computers-joined-to-specific-domains-a3b03efd-ccd0-4d3c-b9ae-7f8f3f9485bc

Note that if you want to restrictr which computers can sync with OneDrvie and Sharepoint without having an AD or Azure AD DS (with is becoming very common), you can use Conditional Access configure policies that will give a similar result, and even more secure.
