I am working on creating a chart of accounts in Business Central. I have exported the default template for import, but it is missing fields like Account Subcategory and GIFI. Is it possible to add fields to the import template?

    Hi Jeff,

The best way to do these is to use the RapidStart function, that allows you to generate a template of the tables you want to migrate with the fields you want.

In the search box type "RapidStart"
Create a new Configuration package or use one just created.
Inside the configuration package add the table number 15 "G/L Account"
Then you can select the fields you want to import.
    Export the template
Fill the excel with the data
    Import the excel

I hope I have solved your doubt

    Kind Regards
