Hi everyone:

I’m currently trying to get OCS 2007 running in my environment (Server 2003 R2), however; I keep hitting the error specified above. Here’s more information about my environment:
* Forest Functional Level: Server 2003
* Domain Functional Level: Server 2003
* Domain: WINX-CESD-US.LOCAL

I’ve done the forest preparation and domain preparation using the wizard, created the enterprise pool, configured the enterprise pool, installed MSMQ and the prerequisites, and attempted to add the server to the pool. When asked to use the active directories accounts, I leave the default names, and specify a password that meets my domain‘s policy, follow the rest of the wizard… And as we can see, get an error that was specified above.

I’ve taken the time to review several articles and forum threads on how to fix this, but nothing seems to have helped. The most recent thing I did was and join the domain at the OCS server, run NewSID, and rejoin the OCS Server to the domain. This unfortunately did not fix the problem. this solution was found here: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ecf7bf51-70b8-456f-a096-d3cbf412f34d/failure-0x80070534-no-mapping-between-account-names-and-security-ids-was-done?forum=ocsplanningdeployment

I understand that LCS 2007 is technically considered ancient by today’s standards, but I have my reasons. And I am trying to extend my existing systems that rely on this legacy technology by adding enterprise communication, and that has failed. Still trying to learn SharePoint 2007 though

If anyone has any idea how to fix this, please feel free to let me know.
