Windows 11 home 22000.318. Group policy client service is running. Yet the Home version doesnt support group policy? What if I place group policy settings in C:\WIndows\System32\GroupPolicy directory? Will the service that is running on 11 home pick those up and apply them?

Would be nice to apply local group policies on Home....

Home edition of the Windows 11 and any other versions of Windows doesn't support the Group Policy and even if you try open start and search for gpedit and try to open it, it won't let you to use it because of the edition of Windows. You may try to copy it but the expected result is , it shouldn't work. It is not expected to use enterprise features like Group Policy in the Home edition. To use Group Policy you should use versions like Pro or Enterprise.
