excel Marco settings gray out

Question

Hi

My enviroment is Win server 2016 Datacenter x64 and Office Pro plus 2016 + remote desktop session server.
I found that my excel -> Trust Center -> Macro Settings is gray out, not allow to change settings and selected at "Disable all Macros without notification".
I need to change it to "Enable all macros" to use it.

I use GP to enable it, nothing change. Also I try to change in registry, still not success.
Did you have any advice?

Could you please choose "Not Configured" for "Administrative Templates (Users) > Microsoft Excel 2016 > Excel Options > Security > Trust Center > "VBA Macro Notification Settings"" this policy in Group Policy Editor?
If yes, but it does not work, you could run gpupdate /force command to have this change to take effect.

You could also perform a Reapir from Contrl Panel for Office 2016.

Hi @Emily Hua-MSFT

This office 2016 is an volume license edition, so not link to O365. Checked confirm not sign any o365 account for "Account" or Activation.
I am looking forward any working plug-in will disable this option, but not get result till now.
There is below 5 plug-in

1. CapitalIQ
2. Training The Street Turbo Macro
3. WinD
4. WiseFN Quantiwise
5. Acrobat

I success install 1 and 2 in my lab, still not reproduce problem in my lab.
It's a RDS server for all user central use, so no other PC can be reference or compare. But I can test at VM.
