i want to ask if i modify visual studio did i have install my old workload again?

Hi Panda, do you meet any issues when you modify the VS or worry about something? When we modify the VS through the VS installer, we can found those old (installed) workloads are checked, which means they are already installed before and we will not be required to install them again.

If you modify your Visual Studio, the old workloads you have installed don’t need to be reinstalled unless the old workloads are damaged.
After clicking on the “Modify”, you will open the following page. As the picture shows, the old workloads are checked, which means you have these workloads installed on your computer.
