Hi

We have exchange server 2013 Dag two Server. and i want to move the passive server database from one drive to another one but without dismount the database as there any way to accomplish this without dismount the database i have searched a lot some one mentioned this way.

Move all active databases to one server.

On the server without the active DB's, stop the Information Store

Copy the entire folder structure of E:\ to G:\

Change the drive letter of E:\ to like Z:\

Change G:\ to E:\

Start the store back and let the passive copies catch up

Repeat the steps for the other server.

would this work and accomplish the need.

Please refer to the following article to move the mailbox database path in a DAG:
Move the mailbox database path for a mailbox database copy
If the mailbox database being moved is replicated to one or more mailbox database copies, you must follow the procedure in this topic to move the mailbox database path. All copies of a mailbox database must be located in the same path on each server that hosts a copy.
