When I try to type a I type a colon ":" by pressing “shift+;” on a typical en-us keyboard layout in RD Client 10.3.6 on ipad with apple magic keyboard it gets sent as what I think is ctrl+]

Hi, I'm also seeing this and is becoming blocker on using iPad as console for some of my work.
Looking at what others are stating, app seems to be sending "^]" (control character) instead when you type ":".
Hope this gets looked at!

The same problem. The internal keyboard can not type either. The only way to type colon is using the RD client's shortcut function to press the shift then type.

I am also seeing this problem on my RD client version 10.4.5 (5227) on my iPhone Xs Max. The prompt for "PC Name" gives 7 examples of IP addresses and URL names, some of which contain colons and/or square brackets. But, if you try to enter those characters, you are told that they are in the set of illegal characters for a PC Name. I see no way to specify an alternate port for the remote connection.
