VMware Workstation VM to Azure

I have a Windows Server Std virtual machine running locally on my VMware Workstation 16.1 Pro, and I need to migrate it to Azure. What is the simplest way to do this, either third party tools or scripting? I am fully aware of Azure Migrate, but is too many steps plus I required to deploy an OVA for a simple VM I want to migrate.. Overkill for my task. Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

    Hi @CycleDude ,

Thank you for reaching out to microsoft Q&A platform.
The best course of action for your requirement is to use Azure Site Recovery physical to Azure(P2A) Approach. However you would need an additional VM with windows server 2012 R2 or later as ASR configuration server where you need to install Unified agent from ASR. Adding the links to the ASR P2A approach for your reference which has detailed procedure.
