Hyper-V Powershell commands take much to execute

Hello there,
I'm using Hyper-v as the main virtualization system for hosting services

I have a bot execute Powershell commands to get VM Information from the Get-VM command
For example with 200 VM on one node its take more than 10 min to execute the command however, it not CPU issues cause even when I stop all VMs issue still exists

So do you have any advice to make Powershell response faster or even a way to get VM data without Powershell?

Are you collecting the information one VM at a time? Or are you using some form of parallelization (Invoke-Command, Start-Job, etc.)?

No, i collect information with Get-VM so I can get full VPS Info, And no I don't use Invoke-Command

So, you just issue a "Get-VM" and collect the information for all VMs on the local node into an array? Is that what's taking 10 minutes to execute? Or is there more to what this "bot" does?

There is more things that bot does, But the main issue that Get-VM Execute even on a solo Powershell command take much to execute

Does it take long to get just the information from a single VM? E.g. Get-VM MyFirstVM

The Get-VM cmdlet is using WMI to get the information. That's not the speediest protocol.

If you establish a CIM session before issuing the Get-VM and name that session Get-VM MyFirstVM -CimSession $MyCimSession does it take as long to complete the Get-VM?
