I assume this is the error message you are getting: "The remote access connection completed, but authentication failed because of an error in the certificate that the client uses to authenticate the server."
As you said you are using an IKEv2 VPN connection on your Windows PC (and you've probably created that connection manually). To resolve this issue, make sure to open the Settings app and navigate to your VPN connections. Then, click on 'Change Adapter Settings' and right-click on the VPN connection that's failing to connect. Select Properties > Networks and untick 'Internet Protocol Version 6,' 'File and Printer Sharing,' and 'Client for Microsoft Windows.' Also, right-click on 'Internet Protocol Version 4' and select Properties. Make sure to check 'Use default gateway on remote network' box.
