Things to consider database migration

Hi friends we have 12 databases and 4 -5 severs on premise and these shall be migrate to azure cloud what factors first to think and there are lots of databases in azure how to select the correct and look for what important things help me please

    Azure indeed provides multiple options like Azure SQL , SQL MI, Synapse etc.

    Based on your current scenario, ask the below questions:

    1. Does your current system have cross database queries or linked servers ? If yes, then SQL MI
    2. Do you want to incorporate all in 1 database , if yes what is the size and complexity of transformations :for synapse
