When using Synapse Analytics , can both Pre-Purchase and Reserved Capacity be used together for extra savings? [ 2112070040004697 ]

Hello Team,

I have a few points of confirmation regarding this "Optimize Azure Synapse Analytics costs with a Pre-Purchase Plan" documentation:

In this doc, it says:

A synapse prepurchase applies to all Synapse workloads and tiers. You can think of the Pre-Purchase Plan as a pool of prepaid Synapse commit units.
Usage is deducted from the pool, regardless of the workload or tier. Other charges such as compute, storage, and networking are charged separately.

Because "compute" is one of the other charges, I see no reason why Reserved Capacity (prepaying for the compute capacity)

can't also be utilized to further reduce costs. Confirmation if both of these can be applied together for further savings is greatly appreciated.

ALSO, regarding the "Purchase Synapse commit units" section of the first document:

it lists the types of subscriptions that can be used to purchase a Pre-Purchase Plan:

MS-AZR-0017P (EA), MS-AZR-0148P (EA Test/Dev) OR Microsoft Customer Agreement OR individual subscription with pay-as-you-go rates (MS-AZR-0003P (Pay as you GO or MS-AZR-0023P (Pay as you GO Test Dev))

Now technically, CSP Modern MS-AZR-0145P (Azure Plan) is also purchased under a MCA. Does this mean CSP Modern subscriptions can also be used to purchase a Pre-Purchase Plan?

In the "Save costs for Azure Synapse Analytics (data warehousing only) charges with reserved capacity" Documentation:

It does say that for CSP, "only the admin agents or sales agents can purchase Azure Synapse Analytics reserved capacity".

So how about the "Pre-Purchase Plan"? is this also limited to admin agents or sales agents? Or unavailable for purchase all together?
