White blinking light on Kinect Azure - used to work before, tested different machines and cables

Greetings. I purchased a new Kinect Azure a while back and it used to work like a charm. When I brought it out of storage a few weeks back it would not connect any more - white blinking light. I tried three different PCs with known working USB 3.0 ports - nothing. USB-C - no luck. Many different cables, including a fancy Newnex FireNex-uLink active repeater extension cable - no. USB internal power and wall wart - no. What else to try? Can it be sent somewhere to confirm it's working?

@BS Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

I Understand that you have gone through the basic troubleshooting steps.

Flashing white means that the camera does not have a data connection to the host PC. You have mentioned you are using USB 3.0 Is the cable you are using a power+data capable or just power. Some USB-C cables are power only.

From the documentation Flashing white indicator means -> Device is on but doesn't have a USB 3.0 data connection.

Please check the page on USB3 host controller compatibility. Always make sure that you have the latest firmware installed on the device. To get the latest firmware version, use the Azure Kinect Firmware Tool. For more information about how to check your firmware status, see Check device firmware version. Also, try Reset Azure Kinect DK

Do let us know if that helps.
