You don't need to do anything differently. Reservations are created separately from VM's, when you purchase reservations they are applied to a subscription or management group for a specific SKU of VM. When you go and deploy a VM of that SKU, to that subscription it will consume a reservation if one is available, if not it will be pay as you go.
Deploy VM for Cloud host from LCS
In the pricing for Azure VM, there are pay as you go and 1&3 yr reservation.
I only knew how to deploy Azure VM cloud host for Pay as you go.
What if I want to deploy Azure VM cloud host from LCS for 1 yr reservation, what do I have to do differently?

Are you still confirm your answer above? Just want to make sure that we are talking the same scenario.
