FIDO Authentication with Security Keys not working on Mobile Devices

Hi there,

We are trying to use FIDO security keys as a MFA solution.
According to our tests, the login using FIDO security keys from an Android or Apple smartphones is not working as expected.
The user chooses the option "Use Windows Hello or a security Key" and then nothing happens - the browser keeps loading without performing any further actions
This issue is happening with all the browsers in the Android Devices. We have already excluded the non supporting browsers. These are not Intune managed devices.
We can confirm that the security keys itself are working because the same security keys can be used on a Windows Client for the same login process without issues.
This raises the question, how should we use FIDO2 tokens on mobile devices to use O365 services on android or iOS devices.
Your guidance is highly appreciated
