"Recent documents" modern web page always show "We didn't find anything to show here."

We have a modern communication site collection >> and inside its home page we added the Recent Documents web part >> but for all users the web part will show the following:-

Although users have read,edit, creates many documents inside the site.. any advice?

    Hi @john john ,

    The Recent Documents Web Part displays the most recent documents accessed by the current user of the page. Per my test, I am not able to reproduce yous issue.

    To further troubleshoot this issue, you could:

    1. Try to click "See all" -> Open in New Tab to test if files will display correctly.
    2. Remove this webpart on this site and add a new one.
    3. Test this web part on other sites to see if it works normally.
