Hello,

You have released a new Powershell Modude for Exchange Online (V2);

I have found out that Get-EXOMailbox cmdlet internally connects to outlook.office.com/adminApi/beta/tenantID/Mailbox.
After exploring this endpoint I have manually performed the same request (outlook.office.com/adminApi/beta/tenantID/Mailbox). It works considerably faster than the Powershell approach with cmdlet.

Firstly, I would like to ask if we can use this API?
Secondly, is it going to be available for public use (anytime soon)?

This api looks like odata api, and I also discovered that it has $metadta endpoint too. I also see Office365 admin portal uses that api in some scenarios; I would love to have official documentation for this for clients to use and consume so one has to skip powershell modules for their system to system integration scenarios to use this API.

I could list shared mailbox but have not tested to created shared mailbox yet.

The API is internal only at this point, not supported in any way outside of the module. They are working on providing a public API, but it will take a while...

@Vasil Michev Thank you! I have another question though. Old cmdlets have SerializationData available, but now I cannot get it with new cmdlets. Is this old functionality going to be supported in new cmdlets?

I cannot tell you for sure. Myself and few other MVPs have been campaigning to have the new cmdlets as compatible with the old ones as possible, but of course we are in no position to make decision on the actual product.

I'm trying to use this method to pull a list of mailboxes, but looks like it defaults to a count of 100 mailboxes only. How can I pull all the mailboxes for the tenant? I tried using $top=999, but even though that is accepted it still only gives me 100. I tried ?resultsize=unlimited as well, but I get the same result of only 100 mailboxes only as well. Any ideas to pull all the mailboxes for the tenant and not just the top 100 mailboxes using this method would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

So, almost 2 years later, is there an update on a public REST API we can use ? :)
