Azure API Management subscriptions limit

Is there a limit for the number of api-subscriptions that can be handled by an Azure API Management instance?
We'll start with a Basic tier. Does it have any limit? How many api-subscriptions can we create/handle in there? Do higher tiers have higher limits?

    You can see all the limits on APIM here, the limits are not on the amount of subscriptions or API's you can create, but on the amount of traffic and connections you can create.
