Problem reading database using Azure Cosmos DB Emulator

When I try and do a read using the Azure Cosmos DB Emulator, I get this error. How do I resolve the error?

Could you please help providing more details? Are you trying to access SQL or Mongo DB? Also, what's the underlying host of the emulator? Have you followed any documentation to configure the environment?

I uninstalled the emulator and reinstalled it following the Microsoft instructions. The emulator is installed on my Windows 10 pc.

I opened the emulator and added a database and 2 containers. I am using the SQL api. I then ran my application to read a document against a container expecting it would not be there. Here is the statement:

oSinglePlayerResponse = await oContainer.ReadItemAsync<SinglePlayer>(pAppUserId, new PartitionKey(pPartitionKey));

The application threw an exception. Attached the stack trace.159327-stacktrace.txt

Hi @Willie ,
Can you please check if the emulator certificate is available on your machine's certificate store?
What type of application you are using to connect to a cosmodb emulator? Can you please check CosmosDB Console application samples over here if those works for you. You can start with - DatabaseManagement and ItemManagement projects to validate the CRUD operations.

I have the emulator cert in the certificate store. I wrote a Xamarin forms app that uses the Cosmo DB. I have run a Console app that exercises the db. It works at all times.

I completely rebuilt my app (Not a good time). Access to the emulator worked after the rebuild. However, it stopped working after a while while testing on an android phone. I don't know what I did to cause it to stop working. Before the rebuild, I couldn't get the UWP app to work. I was getting some type of internal windows error. After the rebuild, the UWP app started working. The UWP app is able to access the emulator.

So, does it look like it has something to do with android?
