Read data from listview in another program WPF.

I have an application that pulls info online and displays it in a listview which I need to export. Unfortunately, the app does not have anyway of doing this. In the past I would use the API functions to interact with other windows forms applications. Could anyone point me in the direction of some information about how to go about doing this?

Hi,@Kerry . Do you want to continue to use the method of interacting with other windows forms applications? Which control do you want to export ListView data to? Or what file format (.cvs)?

Sorry for the late reply, got caught up in the holidays. It would be just for this specific application I would like to export the content to some file .txt .xml .cvs doesn't really matter. I want to import the data into another application I am currently working on.

Is the ListView a real Win32 ListView ?
SysListView32 class with Spy++ :

If so, it can be done with standard Win32 ListView messages and ReadProcessMemory

No it is a WPF I had to use VisualUIAVerifyNative to see the elements

Then you can use UIAutomation (IUIAutomation.ElementFromHandle and so on)
If Inspect can read the items, you can read them too
(I just tested and it works with WPF MS samples using ListViews, like DataBindingToStringFomat)
