I bought a computer last January with MS Office installed. In November, the SSD failed, and the manufacturer (ASUS) replaced it, but when I boot MS Office now it asks me for an activation code. Is there a way I can get a code for my system?

    Hi @Nathan Hagen ,

Do you remember your Microsoft account that associated with the pre-installed Office?

Please note, we handle general issue of Office desktop clients on Q&A forum, but your issue is more related to license, which is out of our support scope and is not supported on Q&A forum.

To help you better, I would suggest you contact Microsoft via phone or chat with them online to seek assistance, confirm that whether they could replace your product key or provide other options. Maybe you would be required to provide a valid proof of purchase and the machine information, such as SN number.

    Thanks for your understanding.
